FAQ
WHAT IS SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP?
Semi-permanent makeup is a form of tattooing that it used to simulate the appearance of makeup. Pigment is implanted into the dermis of the skin with either a machine or manual tool. Permanent makeup, semi-permanent makeup, micropigmentation, and intradermal cosmetics are different names for cosmetic tattooing but are essentially the same thing. There are many procedures available, such as eyebrow color, eyeliner, lip color, and blush. Scar camouflage and other paramedical procedures are also practiced.
HOW ARE SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS PROCEDURES PERFORMED?
The procedures can be performed with the coil machine, rotary or rotary pen style machine, or the manual/hand tool method.
HOW LONG DOES EACH PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedure takes roughly about three hours including the mapping process, however it may take more or less.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Everyone has a different pain threshold, so topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. Some clients report one brow feeling more sore than the other.
IS IT SAFE?
Yes! Only sterilized, disposable needles and supplies are used during the process. Semi-permanent makeup also carries the same risks as traditional tattooing.
IS A TOUCH UP NEEDED, EVEN THOUGH THE PROCEDURE IS SEMI-PERMANENT?
Due to the facial area enduring the most wear out of any other part of the body (sun exposure, eating, sweating, etc), a touch up is usually needed because of normal fading.
Cosmetic tattoo pigment is also designed to fade and soften so the end result is a more natural look.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Depending on client's lifestyle and skin type, semi-permanent makeup can last for up to 3 years if maintained properly.
HOW LONG DOES THE HEALING PROCESS TAKE?
Although the healing process differs from individual to individual, it usually takes roughly ten days for any possible scabs to form and fall off. After that happens, the pigment will need some time to heal into the skin. The process is not usually considered complete until after 6 to 8 weeks. The color will appear darker after the first couple of days. Then, the scabs will fall off and it will seem as though all color is lost. However, the color will then come back a bit faded, and that is when the perfection appointment is needed.

The accepted payment methods are card, Venmo, and Paypal, and you will be prompted at time of booking.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
